Was really hoping that she will not come across this ‘terrible 2 stage’ but we already got the prelude to it by Sher’s display of tantrums, screaming her lungs out when she’s being refused esp. on items tt she wanted. Refusing to nap even though her eyes looks so droopy tt it’s almost close. She’s also learning to be independent, trying to do stuff on her own, feeding herself, removing her clothes before bathtime.

Must really learn a few tips from super nanny, currently aired on Arts Central, am really convinced that tis lady have a superb way with kids, even the most irksome bunches.

Although I’ve been trying to blog as ‘religiously’, but it’s always the fatigue that prevent such thngs from happening.

Came across the Sesame Street website that always capture sher’s attention and her latest craze will be playing with the games esp Elmo’s her favourite sesame street character. Still remember during our childhood that sesame street is also a craze… & we will wait for the show to be aired.. Now, I can only say ball is her favourite toy of the moment… … the gym ball which I bought for exercise also bcom her favourite piece of toy.

Recent additions to Sher’s vocab:- Up, down, come here, 来来, water(pronounce as ter), pain, fan (pron as pan)

Growth Milestone Update:-

• Steady Walker (still lazy to walk outside) @ 15 months
• Teeth dev - 4 upper incisor, 2 bottom incisor
• Adventurous eater; rice w soup, abc w cheese, frog leg porridge, meat and hope to try more new receipe for sher

We didn’t want to hold an big celebration thus only had immediate family w us. B’day cake was from fourleaves and decided on blackforest bcos previous b’day celebration were mostly chocolate cakes. Both in-laws, nephew & Shervon b’day all fall within end Oct/Nov… …

Here’s a recent pics of Sher w her ELmo eyes in her mouth!! Ohhhh… gosh… she has tis habit of putting stuff in her mouth again… the other time, I got her gobbling a fridge magnet in her mouth… scared the hell out of me!!

Decided to enrol Sher to 1 module of KinderMusik so that she will have more exposure to music n of cos the company of her peers.

Ohh… we have actually tried the trial last sun,  teacher doreen was quite a vibrant character n was egging the toddler to walk but I was quite exhausted by all the bouncing, dancing & singing… but overall, it was fun! I must say sher is enjoying it tremendously although she looked worried with all the swinging n lifting her up, she was frantically pulling my top, never letting go for a brief moment.

Will post her weekly class n will see how she progress…It’s definitely expensive to me… $292.32 for only 8 classes. (incl of material cost)

It’s been quite awhile since my last blog… … missed out writing Sher’s 1st birthday celebration and other ‘exciting’ little stuff Think I will be a regular blogger again since I’ve been connected to MaxOnLine over the weekend.

Our family went to the IT show on Saturday, thought we should have missed the crowd by going late after our dinner…. but, as usual ‘kiasu’ sporean pals were there still queuing for the lowest deals n buys. Managed to Q for nearly an hour at the Starhub counter… *faintz before our turn. Was quite tempted to get the 19" Acer LCD Screen which was a cOoL $399, but think this month, we spent quite abit… so will have to missed to terrific offer.

Will be tryin to update on Shervon’s milestone… she’s a ‘trial’ walker now, am really waitin for her promotion to a steady one though. Plus, she’s really awfully playful n cheeky now, up to all sorts of mischief always.

I have finally started working after a long one-month break (also much bonding time with Sher).
My old maid left on 8 Dec after much insistence of going home. So we decided to get the Agent to send her back home. Got a Shock when the agent was running thru her stuff, she actually had 2 handphone in her possession w/o my acknowledgement!! Most of her contacts were guys. After much persuasion, she finally said that she bought the HP during one of her trip to Mosque. (She had no rest day, but we allowed her to Mosque on a few occasion.) Imagine we trusted her, yet she abused it! To think that the government approving of maid off per month…. I really can’t imagine how many maids will be up to mischief.

After 1 week of taking care of Sher alone, we got another new maid. She’s new in taking care of children. Was suppose to start work on 20 Dec, but was so worried that I postponed it till 27 Dec. She was clumbsy & careless so decided to trial her for 1 more week before we change another 1 if she’s not up to it! Had a really hard time teaching her plus she’s so forgetful… make me rethink whether she will be able to take well care of sher when Im not around.

How times flies… … Shervon is 1 on 17 Nov 2005.

Looking back, children really grow extremely fast esp babies… Now she loves to imitate people’s behaviour & action. From being delivered out from my womb, each milestone will always be embedded in our memory. Her 1st smile to us, those never-ending babbling of hers, sher calling papa & mama, 1st flip, sitting-up, standing up & those 1st steps were most cherishing.

As she grew older, hope that our learn-as-we go parenting will guide us through and inculcate her through her life, teaching her respect, love & lots more.

Much to my delight, she seems very entuasiastic in music, I will try to expose her in that area and cultivate her creativity.

Wishing my ger great health & May the guardian angels continue to watch over her!

It was a long awaited & much needed trip… … We were so looking forward to the Beach & Sun, actually it was 2 year long period since our Honeymoon to MaUriTius. A good chance for de-stressing & some quiet time for us. But at the back of my mind, I was guilty of leaving Shervon behind.

Day 1

After our breakfast, we proceed our way to Seletar Airport. We managed to book a cab and in less than 15 minutes we reached the Airport cos the driver was speeding all the way. We were the 1st to reach the Airport as we were wondering whether we were the only passenger on board. Slowly, people trickled in, we were shuffled into a lounge area before we headed for check-in of our baggages. A period of waiting before we boarded the plane. Took-off was quite jittery as the capacity of the plane is small… said a prayer for God’s Blessing.

Managed to land safely at 11.40am in Pulau Redang Airport, after checking-in to the resort, we went for lunch, stomach rumbling throughout the flight. To our dismay, the resort only consist of 1 restaurants, The Palms. We ended having the buffet which was’nt any appetising at all. Then, we tour around the resort, and booked for our "Discover Scuba Dive" & massage on the last day of our stay at ReDanG.

Day 2

We rised early for the Scuba Dive experience, proceeding to the PADI Centre and was introduced to the Diving Instructor, Joe. Before that we were geared up to our diving suits and provided the necessary apparatus/equipment. Were taught the basic breathing & diving techniques before heading to the home reefs couple of metres away frm the resort. When I got down, was swarmed by panic attack… … told myself to breathe normally… As we slowly swarm down the underworld, the air pressure in my ear was getting unbearable but we were greeted by the colourful fishes that past by. As we went further down deeper, we were so awed by the colourful, totally beautiful coral reefs that lived below us…no words can describe our sight on the amazing undersea world! We saw ‘nemo’, sea-cucumber,  schools of angle fish, huge Clam & the lovely reefs in different shades of colors. Really enjoyed it and soon it’s time to go back to land. Would love to revisit this lovely place. Then we went to soak up the sun, lazing at the sun deck baking ourselves and boy, just hope this never end!

Day 3

Our last day before we head home tomorrow, was thinking maybe we could trying jungle-trekked and cut out to Pasir Panjang (Film Location to Summer Holiday-Xia Ri Mo Mo Cha) Plus the resort staff convinced us that it’s a short distance walk… & it’s easy.. (About at an hour journey and follow the red-painted tree) So, we decided to do it after our breakfast, we started trekking up the route. We followed the instruction and ended in the middle of the jungle… 

We never felt so lost for our entire life… … imagine both of us, not much of an adventurous type, wearing slippers to hike… … thinkin bck, it felt so comical. Finally, after 2 hours of walking, we found a shortcut cutting out to the beach… At the back of my mind, I was thinking, thank God!!

We managed to take some pics, and was wondering how to trek back to our resort… … Luckily, we found a small fishing boat that took us back to the resort. But the whole experience is truly amazing As the boat glide thru the coastline, we were taken aback by the gorgeous scenery, the nature of the cave & hills.

After that, we proceed on to our massage… … (my utmost wishlist), was so heavenly that I wish we could do it again. This trip is indeed my memorable one.
